In Part 2 of the “Best Men’s Dress Shoes 2019” Guide we will talk about the 400-700$ category. It is what I like to call medium level, which presents a considerable step up in your shoe game.
What should you expect to find here? From Classics like Crockett & Jones or Carmina to Hidden Gems like Cobbler Union of course!
I will see you in the comments section!
Today I will be reviewing another pair of Shoes from Carlos Santos. More specifically, the Lace-Up Boots in Coimbra Patina and on the 234 Last.
I do not want to spoil too much, but this is a quality dressy boot for both cold weather or regular days out. I will tell you all you need to know!
Forrest Gump once said that “there’s an awful lot you could tell about a person by their shoes”.
For the modern gentleman, shoes are one of the most important pieces of their attire. Different shoes cater to different occasions, but as always, quality and good construction will ensure that your shoes remain in top condition for years. With a little help from shoe trees and polishing of course.
This is an intended 4 part series about the best shoe brands in 2021. It will be divided into 4 categories:
1) Entry Level: Up to 400$
2) Medium Level: Up to 700$
3) High End Level: Up to 1000$
4) Luxury Level: Over 1000$
Part 1 is where you should start and the topic of today’s article. Most of the shoes will be based on the Goodyear-Welt construction, which means they can easily be resoled and represent excellent value for the person that wants to enter the world of quality shoes.
Strap yourselves, get a cup of hot tea and let’s learn about the best men’s dress shoes in 2021 under 400$.

Using the concept of a small minimalist wardrobe with interchangeable pieces, you can create a Business Wardrobe that will cover anything from Business Formal, to Business Casual and Smart Casual.
This article is here to act as a guiding tool for you and point you in the right direction.
Last week I went crazy with the Suitsupply Outlet. I hope you all had the chance to get something!
In the meantime, it got me thinking: Is there a better or on par alternative to SuSu? The answer seems to be Spier and Mackay. I have heard amazing things about them and I look forward to testing them soon.
But until that, I did some digging and research to find out why they are taking the tailoring world by storm. Let’s find out Spier and Mackay’s company profile.
Working at Suitsupply and on this blog has taught me a lot. A Good suit is not just fit, fabric and canvas. There are so many imitations and poorly made suits out there than you can imagine. Today we will be looking at 13 ways to spot a cheap suit and invest only in better garments.
